The hammer is ready to dance

The material is polished. It is shining, like a new mirror. The surface is clean — no scratches and no unwanted dots.
The hammer is ready to dance. It is ready to move in my hand, like a trampoline, ready to jump on the surface. I hold the hammer in the palm of my hand, at the edge of the wooden handle.
Now I take a deep breath. Sometimes Mozart, Beethoven or Dvořák are playing in the background. Sometimes I keep the studio silent.
There my hand goes. It is dancing, down and up. Every time the head of the hammer reaches the surface, the collision makes a sound. The sound of music. Tik, tik, tik, tik.
Slowly I move forward on the plate, carefully hitting the surface where it isn't hammered yet.
The mirror surface is now transformed into a beautiful texture that sparkles with the light reflecting on the material. It reflects and sparkles like a light ball turning around, or a beautifully polished cut diamond.
Like the shape of Affinia's logo — a star with a lot of sparkles.
