Caring for your piece

Handcrafted jewelry from precious materials and gemstones is made to be worn. A little care keeps its texture and light for years.

Last on, first off

Put your jewelry on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before swimming, bathing, cleaning or exercise.

Gentle cleaning

Wipe with a soft, dry jewelry cloth after wearing. For more, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pastes.

Gemstones

Some stones are softer or more sensitive than others. Avoid knocks, sudden temperature changes and ultrasonic cleaners unless you know your stone allows it.

Hammered surfaces

Polish hammered textures lightly so the marks keep catching the light. Over time a gentle patina is part of the character of the piece.

Storage

Keep each piece separately in a soft pouch or box, away from humidity, so pieces don't scratch one another and silver tarnishes more slowly.
